Who I am

Megan Joseph is the owner of Melodies for Learning and Meraki Music LLC. She is a board-certified music therapist who received her Masters in Music Education (MME) emphasis in music therapy at the University of Kansas. She completed a six-month internship at Dallas Children’s and wrote her master’s thesis on the “Clinical Decisions of Music Therapists in the Treatment of Individuals with Eating Disorders.” Since then she has focused her energy on working with people with disabilities and mental health disorders. She enjoys using music to support people in improving their self-expression skills, emotional expression and identification, and co-treating with speech, PT, and OT. In her free time you can find her walking her dog, attempting to keep plants alive, and perusing cookbooks for a new recipe to try.
